A dentist in Palm Beach once referred me to a dentist who could help me straighten my teeth. Unfortunately Invisalign in Birmingham wasn’t my idea of a day trip. However, my teeth came out great in the end and I commend the dentistry profession. It’s really difficult to get what you want from anyone, let alone from a dentist who barely knows your name. There are many other things I’d liked to have been doing at the time, but when it comes to your teeth, it’s one of the first things people see. Most of the time, you feel self-conscious when walking into a dentist’s office, but the staff was great when I went to get my Invisalign and I’m glad I was referred there. The one thing when going to a dentist is to make sure that you feel comfortable; if you’re not comfortable then you should speak up.

Cher once described herself as “the plastic surgery poster girl”. Presently, at age sixty three, she is “a plastic surgery diva”. She has had a long list of cosmetic surgeries that have kept her young and vibrant. Cher has had a breast enlargement which gives her boobs a more perky look. She has had navel surgery and a tummy tuck, which has given her the abdomen of a twenty five year old. She has had her teeth done and her buttocks tightened. She even had liposuction to remove what little bit of body fat that she had.

Most recently, she was seen leaving a medical building in Beverly Hills holding a bag over the lower part of her face. Why? From the side, you could see that she had received plastic surgery once again. She had gotten her lips plumped. She definitely had that “Jolie” look. She should not have been covering it up, though. She looked great! She has admitted to spending a small fortune to look fresh faced.

Cher is a beautiful lady that never seems to age. You cannot even look at her and tell that she had two children. She is in such great shape. Cher does not try to keep all of her cosmetic surgeries a secret. She knows that she does not look her age, so she has no reason to try to hide it from anyone.

Everyone does think that it time for Cher to slack off, though. If not, she will be looking younger than her children in no time. Cher is a smart woman and should know when enough is enough. She has been through drug use and marriages that have fallen apart. She has never let it affect her looks though. Cher will be a diva for years to come.

One of the main pregnancy related changes that you will go through physically is the appearance of stretch marks. They can appear on your belly, butt, thigh and breasts and any other area that experiences major pregnancy induced growth. Stretch marks are highly related to your genetics so if your mother or grandmother had really bad stretch marks the chances that you will get them are definitely higher. However, you can get stretch marks even if your mother did not have them so do not ever think you are in the clear. One way to help prevent or lessen the appearance of stretch marks is to start using a deep moisturizing stretch mark cream as soon as you find out you are pregnant. Rub it all over your belly, breasts, lower back and thighs once or twice a day. One good cream that is inexpensive is Burt’s Bees Mama Butter and it runs about twelve dollars. This can also prevent the need for a breast uplift after your pregnancy and breast feeding.

There are many other creams you can find that will work well too and they vary in price range. It is highly likely that the more expensive the cream, the more effective it will work. Most people also believe that coconut butter and body oil will help to prevent stretch marks and this is a strong possibility since these are high moisture creams. If you notice stretch marks after you give birth and are bothered by them you should know that they will fade quite a bit over time. There are many different creams that you can use after you give birth to try and lessen the appearance of the marks and you can also receive plastic surgery to remove the marks from your skin.

However, it is recommended to wait at least a year before you do anything drastic like surgery because the striations will fade significantly over time. Another possibility is that over time the marks will not bother you as much and you will not feel the need to have surgery. These stretch marks are a natural part of the pregnancy process and it is important to be proud of your body and what it accomplished

Character assassination, or sometimes called “career assassination, is a common tactic used by workplace bullies. They seek to destroy the employee’s good character or reputation or work record. They may spread rumours or lies about the person to discredit them, to make them lose their good reputation and credibility on the job.

Some employees have lost good positions or even their jobs by clever, artful liars, who seek to draw attention to themselves by discrediting their own fellow employees. What are the causes of “character assassination” or bullying at work?

One of the main causes is jealousy. One employee may secretly envy the good work of another employee, they may even sense that they could be eligible for a promotion. Seeking their own prominence, they may begin to spread rumours about the individual, portraying them in a poor light. Others may readily or gullibly believe such lies, perhaps even avoiding the employee altogether.

When the facts are brought to light, the person’s reputation on the job may be restored, but their good name and personal honour may be ruined.

It’s no surprise why such persons have taken legal action against the individual(s) involved or the company itself; some have actually won millions of dollars or pounds, which begrudgingly has to be paid out by the company for allowing such behaviour to exist as they should have done something about the workplace bullying.

Character assassination is not a game, it’s nothing to play with. A person can lose their job because of it or even have criminal charges imposed againt them because of it.

Like a crazed peron who kills a prominent person like a political figure because of some personal gripe they have against them, character assassination is a form of a ‘killing’ that can be done without a gun. In some cases it can even be worse than actual assassination.

Botox has been ruled safe by the FDA, however, that does not mean there are not side effects to its use. Being careful and informed is very important. Botox training courses are the first place where side effects should be addressed and understood, in order to have them be eliminated or minimized in your practice. I will discuss some of these now. Botox training can provide you with the information to be able to tackle the most common side effect, which is bleeding at the sight of injection. In order to minimize this side effect, a smaller needle should be used, as taught in dermal filler training courses.

The skin here is very delicate and measures should be taken to counteract the tiny bumps and or bleeding created by the injection. Secondly, there is a likelihood of numbing of the mouth area if Botox was used there. The reason for this is that the skin and muscles are pretty small there as well. The numbness usually wears off rather quickly, by the next day or so, in most cases. Again, that is something that occurs often and that is made a point of by instructors teaching Botox training courses. There are more serious side effects. The one I’m thinking of has to do with the injections of the Botox substance in one area and the substance not staying within the designated area and causing symptoms of botulism in the body of the patient. Again, this is something that can potentially occur and that the practitioner should be well aware of, as much as the client, perhaps. While Botox is considered safe to use by the FDA we can remind ourselves that this is still a medical procedure with minimal but real side effects. Like I said before, all these side effects should be addressed by the person administering Botox and discussed at length with the patient.

Hair loss solutions can sometimes be more than just stopping hair loss or replacing thinning hair. It takes a planned out course of action suited to each individual’s needs in order to be successful. It is imperative that you get a Dr. that is skills in hair restoration. Having a person that is trained specifically in diagnosing and managing hair loss is the best solution to help you get optimal results.

Hair restoration is in a one-size-fits-all solution, every person is an individual has individual needs. Some things you want to consider will be age, the Dr. will want to look into whether you’re hair loss will likely go on for a number of years or not. Another thing to consider is a person’s gender. Men and women have different hair loss needs and need different approaches to hair transplant surgery. What is the reason for hair loss. This is a good starting point to figure out which treatment will be. Another thing your Dr. will have to consider is how much hair loss there has been because this has a decided impact on the type of surgery and the severity of the hair loss.

There are quite a few things that you and your surgeon have to take into consideration before embarking on a hair restoration surgery. You will have a full exam and a few consultations to figure out the hair transplant process going to be the best for you and your hair loss needs.

The importance of teeth cleaning and appealing toothpaste to prevent the perishing of natural teeth that may result in tooth extraction is even nowadays recognized for dogs that have peanut butter flavoured toothpaste. The toothpaste flavour is meant to increase our patience to brush correctly.

As humans, we tend to prefer the freshness of peppermint and spearmint type toothpastes on our toothbrushes that partly contain gel dentrifice for abrasive cleaning, fluoride or xylitol to prevent tooth decay or gum disease, water, artificial sweetners and a negligible amount of other chemicals.

There are now even special toothpastes catogarised by location, date, brand, flavour, and packing type, such as Champagne flavoured toothpaste produced in Britain. Alcohol flavoured toothpaste rarely contain real alcohol because this would pose a challenge on breathalyzer tests for road safety.

Trends in toothpaste have evolved from bones, blood, pure white wine, charcoal, strawberries, cuttlefish, cream of tartar, clover oil, chlorophyll, and peppermint oil to fluoride and teeth whiteners such as peroxide gel.

Essex dentists often discuss normal and electric teeth brushing options with patients to emphasize that the brushing technique is actually more important in teeth cleaning than the flavour or brand of toothpaste, and also offer a range of dental jobs if you let things get too bad.

Abscess toothaches are very different from the toothaches due to wisdom tooth or the gum disease. The abscess toothache is said to be existing when there is some kind of pus formation close to the teeth or on the gums. The following are some of the key facts relating to abscess toothache:

1. Abscess toothaches when compared to the toothaches caused by other problems are very painful and excruciating. There are people who find this toothache unbearable and feel like killing themselves.

2. It is better that you go and visits a dentist to get rid of this problem permanently.

3. If you think that you are not able to bear the pain and want some temporary relief, then there are some ways to do that as well.

4. The pain in the tooth can never be got rid of if the abscess is not get rid of. The abscess formation is the root cause of the problem and it is very important that one gets rid of that root for permanent relief.

5. There are basically two types of abscess formations. One is the smaller one and the other is the bigger one. The smaller can be got rid of by the person at home itself provided he is very sure as to how to do it so that does not end up hurting himself and aggravating the problem. The bigger one cannot be removed at home and one will have to get rid of it only with the help of a dentist.

A new smile can make a new you, a smile makeover may be just the latest trend, but its also a fashion statement and a personal statement saying you take pride in your appearance. The good news is that the cost of a movie star smile and perfect looking teeth is no longer prohibitive. A favourite of many people is the veneer, this won`t just give you an instant white smile, it can often also cover up defects on our tooth line. Cracked, chipped, discoloured and misaligned teeth can become a thing of the past with a veneer transplant. Your dentist will need to gather some information first, they will take digital photos and make a mould of your present tooth, then all that information is sent to an orthodontist to make the veneers, they are made individually. When they are ready to be fitted the dentist needs to prepare your teeth, first they need to shave the enamel off your tooth, after numbing it of course. The amount they take off is equal to the thickness of the veneer in question, and this varies from veneer to veneer. The indent left is then filled with the new veneer, the result is instant and will last anywhere from 3-15 years in total. The time span depends on the thickness and how well you look after them. They need no special care, just normal brushing, flossing and rinsing all followed up with six monthly check ups to remove any tartar deposits. They can be replaced at any time from beginning to end, and the process is very easy. If that’s too much for you and all you want is whiter teeth, then a whitening treatment is just what you need. This is done in a salon or your home, and a trained technician will do the work. You will have a soft comfortable rubber gum shield fitted into your mouth, this will keep your teeth on show and protect the rest of your mouth. A gel is brushed on the teeth and an intense, warm and bright blue light is shone onto the teeth, this reacts with the gel and makes your teeth whiter by bleaching them in much the name way the sun will bleach your hair. The session takes an hour, but is done in three stages, each lasting fifteen minutes. When you`re finished the technician will explain to you about the best way to keep them pearly white, and a diet sheet will help you to keep them from discolouring again.

Frequently there will be swelling and some pain in the area of the tummy tuck as your body rushes to heal the cut. If your symptoms go beyond what your surgeon told you to expect then you should contact him immediately. Although the tummy tuck cosmetic surgery is popular for both women and men, it is still major surgery.
The severity of the side effects depend on the type of tummy tuck that you had done. You can expect some swelling in the area and that is why you will be give a compression bandage also called a compression garment or an abdominal binder to try and keep the swelling in the area controlled. Besides the swelling, another common side effect is the post operative pain. When you come out of anesthesia, your abdomen will be sore and painful. If you were given prescriptions during your initial consultation and setting up for the surgery, you should be sure that you have those prescriptions filled before surgery to take when you are released and sent home.
It is foolish not to take the medication as directed and not to wait for the pain to strike. Eventually, the swelling will subside and disappear. If the pain continues or increases, you should contact your plastic surgeon immediately. Your incision after a tummy tuck surgery should start to heal within six weeks. If it doesn’t, you might have some problems that will require you to call your plastic surgeon.
